Parenting support
Dealing with a child who has emotional or behavioural or learning issues can be difficult. Parenting support is provided to help parents understand their child’s issues and will be upskilled to better deal with them.
Parent workshops
Parent workshops are pivotal for students, families and schools, to provide support to parents dealing with a range of issues.
Parent workshops are offered throughout the school year including topics; dealing with challenging behavior, building resilience, dealing with an anxious child, parenting from a DBT perspective.
Parent workshops
Part of the DBT model is the need to not only skill up the child to cope better with life’s challenges, but it is equally as important to skill up the parent (and the teacher’s too!).
Individual therapy is also available to parents, if indicated and desired, to provide personal and direct support related to individual circumstances.
