Non-evidence based interventions – Beware!

There are many interventions for Learning Disorders that sound great, promise alot, but simply do not have research supporting them.  Alot of time and energy is wasted by pursuing non-evidenced based interventions and DBT in Schools is committed to increasing awareness of evidence based practice.  Here are some Macquire University Special Education Centre (MUSEC) briefings which provide information about different interventions and whether they are recommended.
